Print advertising goes way back, the Egyptians used papyrus back in the day to make sales messages and wall posters.The first newspaper to get payed for running a advert was La Presse, allowing it to lower the price and thereby making the paper more accessible to everyday people. Advertising has moved a long way since then and is all around us in the 21st century, everywhere we look there is some advertiser trying to grab our attention. With so much competition around, advertising has truly turned into a art form I believe,with some beautiful pieces of advertising work hitting the market everyday trying to captivate the masses while trying to get a strong message across to the materialistic beings we are.
